In the historic center of Bormio, one of the most anticipated events of the Bormio summer: the Wine Evening .
For the occasion, the most important Valtellina wineries will exhibit their products in the heart of some historic courts : experts and simple enthusiasts will be invited to learn more about the characteristics and particularities of Sassella, Grumello, Inferno and of course Sforzato, the king of Valtellina wines.

21/8 Evening in the dark
The lights of the historic center of Bormio go out and the magic begins.
Join the evening at Scur (in the dark) guided by the light of a lantern on a journey of tastings, sensations, music and performances through the narrow streets and open courtyards of the historic center. The most intimate and evocative evening of the summer.
Cradle of a heritage of traditions - cultural, architectural, food and wine - Bormio deserves to be observed also from alternative points of view. Splendid by day, immersed in the colors of the nature of the Stelvio National Park and fascinating by night, when darkness falls and the lights dim until they go out completely.
During the evening all the lights of the historic center will be turned off to make room for the discovery of the ancient city courtyards by candlelight. Fires and torches, in fact, will guide participants on a suggestive itinerary of discovery, among ancient portals, churches and magnificent frescoes, along paths made of voices, sounds, music, scents, tastings and shadow games.
A true sensory experience guided by lanterns through the most evocative courtyards of Via Roma, Piazza del Kuerc and Via de Simoni.

The historic center of Bormio, from Piazzetta S. Vitale along Via Roma, up to Piazza del Kuerc, hosts one of the top food and wine events of the summer in Valtellina: the longest pizzoccherata in Italy!
A single 800-meter table with 2,026 diners ready to taste the excellent pizzoccheri prepared by hand by 16 restaurants in the area.
